Product Spotlight: Bath & Body works winter collection

It's that time of year Bath & Body Works comes out with their awesome winter fragrance collection. Right now they are all buy 2 get 1 free! These make awesome gifts. I also have to say for body mists these have really good staying power. I can spritz them on in the morning and still smell them at night!

My all time favorite would have to be Twisted Peppermint which smells like Peppermint, a blend of cool, refreshing mint, white sugar and just a hint of rich vanilla. Lovely for winter time!


I also really like Vanilla Bean Noel which smells like a blend of fresh vanilla bean, warm caramel and rich, comforting cream. Its just the right hint of vanilla and smells sweet. I personally think this is great year around!



Last but not least Winter Candy Apple which smells like blend of crisp apple, sweet orange and pineapple with cinnamon spice. Yum!

It's been gloomy and raining out all day today and the flash on my camera sucks so excuse the poor quality pix. Wow my eyebrows need to be plucked! lol I didn't use any mascara because I'm trying to give my lashes a break hah :-P

Milani Buzz Worthy Lipgloss in Buzz off review/pics

I love this lipgloss, I haven't tried very many products by Milani but I'm impressed. This lipgloss smells and tastes amazing. It has a fruity cranberry scent and taste. It stays on for a really long time and doesn't dry my lips out. I've never tried a lipgloss that actually moisturized my lips like this does.It's a squeeze tube applicator as you can see from the pictures below. At first I hated the applicator but I figured out how to apply the gloss evenly, I put on some with the slanted tip and then turn it over and use the flat side to smooth out. It's extremely glossy, but I don't think it's too sticky. It's a light pink with golden shimmer in it. I paid $6.99 for this at CVS.I highly recommend it!

NYX eyeshadow trio review

I think these are great, NYX is a great, cheaper brand of make up that works just as good as high end products. I recently bought a few of these and I was very impressed with them. They have 45 different sets to choose from! The colors of all of these are just gorgeous and go on very smoothly The compact is a really cute matte black, with a mirror and a 2 sided sponge applicator inside which is convenient if your applying shadow on the go. On the website it says they cost $8.00 which isn't bad but it really just depends where you go I purchased them from a local store for $5.99Check on Cherryculture.com They usually have NYX items for a lower price. I highly recommend this product, great buy! I look forward to trying more of these trios.

Alba Botanica • Sea Lettuce Cleansing Milk

got this on sale at a discount store for $4.99 (orig $9.95) so I was really excited to try it. I love it! it doesn't dry my skin out at all but still gives it a nice fresh clean feeling. Smooth texture and a nice scent. I love all the natural ingredients that are in it, and the pump bottle is convenient. It's also 100% vegetarian and no animal testing! :)

Clinique • Facial Soap Mild

There's really nothing special about this bar,I heard great things about it but I wasn't very impressed. It drys my skin out, it's great if my skin is super oily that day but nothing special about this I feel like I'm just using any old bar of soap to wash my face. I can't believe I spent $12.00 on a bar of soap! hah.

Neutrogena • Oil Free eye makeup remover

I've used a lot of make up removers and I could never find one that actually got all the make up off without bothering my skin, this is the most amazing eye make up remover I've ever used. It doesn't leave my skin all oily and it gets all of the make up off really quick. I've used this for years and will continue to. Great product!

Natural face mask

Here's a simple and easy refreshing and face mask that I've created

What you need:


2 tablespoons of yogurt
2 tablespoons of oatmeal
1 teaspoon of honey
3-4 tablespoons of milk

Mix the ingredients together until it's paste-like, add more milk if needed. Apply on face and let it dry and then remove it by gently scrubbing. Wash it off with lukewarm water and pat dry

NYX Diamond Sparkle Lipstick review

So I've heard a lot of buzz about NYX cosmetics and since I live in Arizona it's really hard for me to get ahold of any because the closest retailer is hours away. I was in California recently and found a store that sold NYX. I got a bunch of their stuff. My favorite was the Diamond Sparkle Lipstick, it's great! I got Sparkling Amber I'll post pics of swatches when I get my other computer running. Anyway onto the lipstick it's super creamy and stays on a long time, it didn't dry my lips out at all and it's only $5.00 they have 24 beautiful colors you can buy them here:

These are ahhhmazing! I went to Kohls the other day and they were out on display as limited edition. They cost $10.00 but I got them for $8 on sale. I bought one then went back the next day and bought 3 more. Bikini Pink is my favorite. It stays on a LONG time and they’re not super sticky. Wonderful shine with a nice hint of color and they smell good too. Overall they're a great product one of my top 5 favorite lip products!
